Vicki
Vicki has been working with our office since November 1979. She has been in the medical field in a variety of positions since 1970. She is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Pre-Med and minors in Psychology and Math. She has also worked on a Master’s in Nursing Administration. She knows insurance laws and is a well-known lecturer and practice management consultant. She travels with the doctor, is the HIPAA Privacy Manager, and oversees the entire practice at all locations. Vicki currently handles all insurance verifications and can explain insurance benefits and fight on your behalf, unlike any other office. She handles all parts of the billing process from intake to billing to posting payments and statements and assists the doctor. She is well versed in podiatry and can help with any of your questions or concerns.
We have a number of other helpers who assist us in filing and other office tasks. We also at any one time have interns with us from local colleges who are enrolled in medical billing and management courses, and interns who are in college in Pre-Med or who want to pursue a medical degree. We also offer internships with other podiatrists who intern with us to learn the basics of running an office.
